The Vicks Sticker

Ok, so calling it a "Vicks Sticker" is actually not true.

These smelly mentholated stickers that are supposed to give you the Vicks-ish relief without getting you all gooey and gross aren't made by Vicks, but the name seemed appropriate.

So these little sticky patches of mentholyptus are good for about 8 hours, so when I peeled off yesterday's Vicks Sticker so I could apply a new one, that's when I finally READ THE DIRECTIONS.

Maybe it's because they have transdermal birth control, and nicotine patches, or because when I'm all menstrual crampy I've slapped on those sticky heating pads. But apparently, on the VAPOR PATCH, it says right on the packaging:

DO NOT APPLY DIRECTLY TO SKIN.

Hahahah. This might explain why I've been having a hard time washing all the adhesive off.

But here is the better duh moment -- enough to remind me not to make this blunder again -- I love that this product's major downfall is that it is COMBUSTIBLE.

COMBUSTIBLE!! But please inhale it, it'll make ya feel better!

WTF DOES THAT MEAN?!

Did I really just stick this combustible product on me for the last two days? And if it's combustible, and ergo flammable, why exactly is this good to inhale?
