Well, apparently $1500 is adequate for the likes of Joey Chestnut, who took home the top prize. (along with a bellyache and an awful case of acid reflux).
$5 grand, maybe.
But hell no to $1500. That wouldn't cover the amount of chewable Pepto I'd need to survive the next two hours.
